Fivnex is Changing.

As I am coming off my semester for high school, I have decided it is time for Fivnex to change a lot. For those who did not know, Fivnex has been running a grand total of three operating system projects. With that, we wanted to slim that down to one OS. We also want to focus on making software and contributions over customized software. What does this mean?

Well, we want to say goodbye to the BSD community. To put it simply, I do not have enough expertise in developing a BSD system. I have deemed it better for my time and energy to focus on other projects by Fivnex. To put it bluntly, ArisbluBSD is dead. The project is not even being recycled. This does not mean we will be making that Linux system our flagship product, though another OS is in the works by part of our team.

Another thing is where Fivnex is focusing its time. Fivnex will be an open-source media group as its primary focus. We will more work on games to promote and expand upon open-source software. We will also be focusing on open-source advertising. Making video and image ads for open-source projects for cheap.

TL;DR - We are focusing on being a media group. ArisbluBSD is shutting down, and Fivnex is doing less with software for a while.

  1. You had something going with BSD, young bloods. Then you close the project within what appears to be a month of two blog articles. Now you are going somewhere else. This is not the True way, friends. I'm sure you are busy and understand you had many projects. Yes, make your living doing other responsible things, that also give back. But hold fast in the long term to True ideals. BSD, Freedom, Privacy et al, has always been of them.
You have inclination that the Linux world is corrupted and falling, as is most of Computing and Software. Sadly the future is bleak and so forth. Unless people like you pick up The Baton and faces The Challenges, with courage and steadfastness, and unwavering focus. Only once the True path is revealed to you. Beware The Darkness that claims it is Light. Beware The Empire that said it was not.
